Chikabonita Global

Privacy policy

How we collect, use and protect personal information when you visit our website, request our sample audit or work with us.

Last updated 17 October 2026

The short version

  • We only collect what we need to send you the sample audit, deliver your audit and run our business.
  • We never sell your information or share it for anyone else's marketing.
  • We ask for customer exports without names, email addresses or card details.
  • You can unsubscribe, see your data or ask us to delete it at any time.

01Who we are

Chikabonita Global is a trading name of Chika Daniel, a business based in the United Kingdom. We provide customer retention audits for health and wellness brands.

For the personal information described in this policy, we are the controller. That means we decide how and why it is used, and we are responsible for looking after it. You can contact us about anything in this policy at chika@chikabonitaglobal.com.

02What we collect

When you request the sample audit

Your first name, your work email address and your agreement to receive emails from us.

When you buy an audit

Your name, business name, email address and billing details. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.

When you complete your intake form

Your answers about your business, and any files you upload, such as customer exports and screenshots of your emails.

When you contact us or have a call with us

What you tell us by email or on a call, and notes we make so we can help you.

When you visit our website

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites and does not identify you. Our website does not use advertising cookies.

03Why we use it, and our legal basis

UK data protection law says we must have a lawful reason for each use of your information. These are ours.

What we doOur legal basis
Send you the sample audit and occasional emails about customer retentionYour consent, which you can withdraw at any time
Deliver the audit, calls and support you have paid forTo carry out our contract with you
Keep invoices and business recordsTo meet our legal obligations
Reply to enquiries and improve our serviceOur legitimate interests in running our business well

04Your customers' information

To prepare your audit, we look at how your customers behave: when they first order, when they reorder, when they cancel and when payments fail. We do not need to know who they are.

We ask you to send exports with customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses and card details removed, keeping only an order or customer ID and the dates. If an export you send does contain personal information, we handle it as your processor, only on your instructions and only for your audit and guarantee, as set out in our terms.

05Who we share it with

We never sell your information. We share it only with the trusted services we use to run our business, and only as far as they need it to provide their service to us:

  • Stripe, to take payments
  • Tally, for our sample request and intake forms
  • HubSpot, to send emails and keep client records
  • Our email and secure file storage providers
  • Cloudflare, to host our website and count visits

We may also share information if the law requires us to, for example with HMRC.

06Information stored outside the UK

Some of the services above store information outside the UK, for example in the United States. When this happens, we make sure the transfer is protected by safeguards recognised under UK law, such as UK adequacy regulations or approved contract terms.

07How long we keep it

  • Sample audit sign-ups: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your details.
  • Customer exports and screenshots: deleted within 30 days of the end of your guarantee period, or sooner if you ask.
  • Invoices and client records: six years, to meet tax and accounting rules.
  • Enquiries that don't lead to work: up to 12 months.

08How we keep it safe

We store files in secure, password-protected systems with two-step sign-in, limit access to the people who need it, and delete exports once they are no longer needed. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable care to protect your information, and we will tell you promptly if something goes wrong that affects you.

09Your rights

You have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
  • ask us to correct anything that is wrong
  • ask us to delete your information
  • ask us to limit how we use it, or object to how we use it
  • ask us to send your information to you or another business
  • withdraw your consent at any time, for example by clicking unsubscribe in any email

To use any of these rights, email us. We will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

10Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our business grows. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make a significant change, we will tell you by email.
